CONCRETE, Wash. – Deputies have scaled back their search efforts for a man missing in the Baker Lake area.
Thirty-eight year old Jason Lovelady disappeared Saturday while looking for fir cones with his mother.
Deputies, volunteers, scent-tracking canines and a helicopter have searched the area where Lovelady was last seen four days ago, but have found no trace of what happened to him.
Whatcom County Undersheriff Jeff Parks says the area where Lovelady went missing is known for having good fir cones, and there is no apparent reason for him to leave the area.
Lovelady is described as 5’9”, 180 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.
He was wearing a pair of light-green shorts, ankle-high brown boots and a red and black flannel shirt. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s office.
