Paulson leads Bellingham Bells past Kitsap

Jake Paulson picked up his first victory of the season leading the Bellingham Bells to a 9-1 victory over the Kitsap BlueJackets Tuesday night at Joe Martin Field. Paulson went six innings giving up just five hits and striking six.

Seven Bells batters were hit by a pitch in the game, the most to this point in the West Coast League season.

The Bells improve to 16-and-12 on the year. Bellingham is just 1.5 games behind first place Walla Walla in the North Division. Kitsap falls to 11-and-21.

The two teams square off Wednesday in the rubber match of the three game series. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm. You can hear the game on www.bellinghambells.com.
