PeaceHealth and Regence reach deal to continue member coverage

KGMI News Reporting
By Mike Curtiss

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – People with Regence health plans will continue to receive their care at PeaceHealth hospitals at lower in-network rates.

Earlier this month, Regence notified its members that PeaceHealth would no longer be in their network of contracted providers starting in July if a new agreement was not reached.

Amy Cloud, spokesperson for PeaceHealth Saint Joseph Medical Center, says both organizations understand the impact this has on members and patients.

The new two-year contract begins July 1, which means there will be no interruption of in-network coverage for Regence members.
