PORT TOWNSEND, Wash. – Police say there’s no evidence of foul play in the death of a woman who fell 200 feet from a cliff near Port Townsend.
Officials say 59-year-old Kristine Kay Dishong, who lived near the area where she fell, entered a bluff that had been closed off since October following a landslide.
Police say Dishong climbed under a “closed” sign and walked through underbrush to get to the edge of the unstable bluff.
Her body was found Saturday and police believe she fell off the cliff sometime last week.
