The Bellingham Post 7 American Legion team rolled over Garfield Saturday with a pair of shutout victories at Sehome High School. Bellingham took the first game 13-0 and the second 19-0.
Chad Richter picked up the win in game 1 striking out 10 and allowing only one hit. Luke Christianson was 2-for 3 with a triple and 3 RBI’s.
In game 2 Tanner Olson struck out 15 while also allowing only one hit. He helped his own cause with the bat going 2-for-3 on two doubles, with 4 RBI’s. Brice Longanecker had a 3-run home run in the win.
Post 7 improves to 10-and-2 on the year. They play Langley Monday at 6:30pm at Joe Martin Field.
