SEATTLE (AP) — Washington quarterback Keith Price says he surprised himself with how much he was able to throw in practice on Tuesday, although he’s still unsure if he’ll play in his final home game Friday against rival Washington State.
Price says he participated in about half of Tuesday’s practice. He sat out last week’s game at Oregon State after suffering what he called a “severe” injury in his right, throwing shoulder on Nov. 15 against UCLA.
Redshirt freshman Cyler Miles started against the Beavers, although the Huskies didn’t need much from their quarterback that game as they ran for 530 yards in a 69-27 blowout.
Price says it would mean a lot to play in the final home game of his college career but he won’t put his own wishes ahead of the team.
