Primary ballots are in the mail

KGMI News Reporting

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – Primary election ballots have been mailed as of Friday.

Registered voters in Bellingham and Blaine should keep an eye out for the ballots to hit their mailboxes early this week.

Only three races in Whatcom County will qualify for the primary election.

They are the Bellingham City Council At-large position, the Bellingham School District, and Blaine City Council’s Ward-2 seat.

Ballots are due back by August 6.

If a registered voter does not receive their ballot by Friday, July 26, they are urged to call the Whatcom County Auditor’s Office and request a new one.
