WHATCOM, Wash. – Today is the deadline to register to vote or change a voting address in time for Whatcom County’s August 6 primary election.
The Bellingham City Council, the Blaine City Council, and Bellingham School District 501 all have positions with more than two candidates running.
The top two candidates with the most votes in those races will move on to the November general election.
People can register to vote in person at the Whatcom County Auditor’s Office, by mail, or online at www.myvote.wa.gov.
New Washington voters have until July 29 to register to vote in the August 6 primary.
