BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Packaged salad sold in Western Washington is being recalled after three people fell ill with E. coli bacterial infection.
California-based Glass Onion Catering is recalling ready-to-eat grilled chicken salads and sandwich wraps, along with products containing ham, produced between September 23 and November 6.
The people being hospitalized are residents of King, Snohomish, and Whatcom counties.
Officials say all three tested positive for the same strain of E. coli and had consumed ready-to-eat salads purchased at Trader Joe’s.
