Seahawks’ Harvin Needs Hip Surgery

(Seattle, WA) — The Seahawks prized offseason acquisition has received bad news. Percy Harvin made it known through his Twitter account that he will have to undergo hip surgery. NFL.com is reporting it will put Harvin out approximately three to four months. Seattle traded its 2013 first round and seventh round picks along with a third rounder in 2014 to acquire the dynamic playmaker. The former Florida product had 62 catches for 677 yards plus ran for another 96 yards in nine games in 2012. Fourth-year veteran Golden Tate will be expected to help fill Harvin’s role.
