Renton, WA (Sports Network) – Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Russell Okung will not play in Sunday’s game against Jacksonville due to a toe injury he sustained in the team’s most recent outing.
Okung exited last Sunday’s 29-3 victory over division-rival San Francisco in the first quarter. Multiple reports have indicated that the 2012 Pro Bowl selection has a torn ligament in his foot, more commonly known as “turf toe.”
The sixth overall pick of the 2010 draft, Okung has missed at least one game in each of his first three pro seasons due to various injuries.
