According to the Seattle Times, the Seattle Seahawks had no interest in being featured in this season of HBO’s Hard Knocks. NationalFootballPost.com has official confirmation quoting Seahawks’ general manager John Schneider.
“We understand the interest in this show, but would not want to bring a ton of attention to ourselves,” Schneider is quoted as saying.
The National Football Post lists the Seahawks as one of five teams they believe would be the most interesting to be featured on Hard Knocks. The Hawks would no doubt make for great television with a number of popular personalities in players such as Richard Sherman, Marshawn Lynch and Russell Wilson as well as coach Pete Carroll. However, it appears Schneider has decided against bringing any additional publicity to the team.
