Seahawks’ Sherman named NFC Defensive Player of the Week

New  York, NY  (SportsNetwork.com)  –  Green Bay  Packers  running back  Eddie Lacy,  Seattle  Seahawks  cornerback  Richard Sherman  and  Arizona  Cardinals kicker  Jay  Feely were  named the  NFC’s top players  on offense, defense and special teams for Week 15 of the NFL season.

Lacy  rushed for  141  yards  and scored  the  game-winning  touchdown as  the visiting  Packers battled  back to stun the Dallas Cowboys, 37-36. He added 30 yards on four catches.

Sherman  picked off  two passes  and  deflected another  that led  to a  third interception in a 23-0 win at the New York Giants.

Feely  made  three field goals, including  a 41-yarder in overtime that lifted the Cardinals to a 37-34 win at Tennessee.
