Former Meridian High School and Washington State Cougar tight end Andrei Lintz has been signed by the Seattle Seahawks. The club made the announcement Thursday while claiming wide receiver Perez Ashford off of waivers and waiving running back Ray Holley and injured wide reciver Greg Herd.
Lintz played in 43 games for the Cougars, making 10 starts. He recorded 10 receptions for 114 yards and two touchdowns.
Ashford was originally signed by the Cleveland Browns in April out of Northern Illinois University but was released on May 30. He signed with the New England Patriots on July 19 and was released on July 31.
