Seahawks’ Thurmond suspended

(Renton, WA) — Seahawks cornerback Walter Thurmond the Third has been suspended for the team’s next four games for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, according to several reports. Thurmond has been starting in place of the injured Brandon Browner. Thurmond will begin serving the suspension this week and will be back for the regular-season finale. The Seahawks are back from their bye week and have a big matchup against New Orleans for NFC supremacy next Monday night.
