EVERETT, Wash. – Singapore Airlines is snatching up some of Boeing’s 787 Dreamliners.
The airline plans to buy 30 of the 787-10 jets along with 30 Airbus A350-900’s in an agreement valued at $17-billion.
The move makes Singapore Airlines the first carrier to commit to the newest version of Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner.
The new jet will seat 320 passengers, compared to 240 for the 787-8 and 290 for the 787-9.
