OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Washington Health Exchange is now open for enrollment.
State Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler says the new exchange is predominantly for people not otherwise insured through other government programs or their employer.
He says this day is a long time coming for many people, especially those denied insurance in the past because of preexisting conditions.
