BELINGHAM, Wash. – After several months of bargaining, the local union which represents Bellingham Technical College’s facilities and food services staff has rejected the latest contract offer made by the college.
BTC announced Friday that the two sides have reached an impasse.
The college and the union have held 15 bargaining meetings trying to reach a new contract agreement since October.
BTC says they expect both sides will request the help of a state mediator in order to come to an agreement.
