EVERETT, Wash. – Thousands of people are expected to attend today’s funeral for a fallen Washington State Patrol trooper.
The services will be held at Comcast Arena in Everett to honor Sean O’Connell, who was killed last week in Skagit County while directing traffic.
More than 500 police cars are expected to participate in a motorcade that will leave Smokey Point at 11:00 a.m., travel south on I-5 to Everett Avenue, then on to the arena.
The funeral is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
