BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Two people were hurt in a crash on Everson-Goshen Road that sent a vehicle careening into a garage yesterday.
The Washington State Patrol says 48-year-old Wendy Kimmel of Maple Falls was driving southbound at about 11:00 a.m. when she ran a stop sign at Mount Baker Highway and hit a semi-truck.
Her car was knocked off the highway and hit a nearby garage, damaging a vehicle inside. Kimmel and her passenger, a 14-year-old boy, were both injured and transported to the hospital.
The truck driver wasn’t hurt.
