WASHINGTON STATE – According to an analysis by financial website Wallet Hub, Washington is among the states most affected by the federal government shutdown.
The study analyzed key areas in which the shutdown will affect citizens, including number of federal employees per capita and most federal contracting dollars per capita.
Washington is listed as the eleventh-most affected state, while Oregon ranks 31st.
Virginia, Alaska, Alabama, Washington, DC, and Maine rank first through fifth, respectively.
