Washington minimum wage to rise in 2014

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Washington’s statewide minimum wage will rise on January 1.

The hourly minimum will increase from the current $9.19 to $9.32, keeping Washington’s minimum wage the highest in the nation.

The increase is tied to inflation.

The federal minimum wage is $7.25 per hour.
