BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Three Western Washington University students have had to find a new place to live after discovering a methamphetamine user once lived in their rental house.
Jeff Hegedus with the Whatcom County Health Department says the women started experiencing health problems.
A test confirmed the home contained unsafe levels of meth residue.
The owner must clean the place before any new tenants can move in.
A tag saying the house was once contaminated will remain on its title forever.
