LYNDEN, Wash. – Some wild weather was reported in north Whatcom County yesterday.
A local man spotted a funnel cloud in the Lynden area.
The man, who identified himself only as “Tony B.”, says he was worried that a tornado was about to touch down at his warehouse on East Badger Road.
The National Weather Service says radar indicated that a storm cell was detected near Lynden around 2:20 p.m., but it had a very weak rotation.
