WTA fares to remain steady in 2014

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Whatcom Transportation Authority will hold a public hearing tomorrow on its proposed 2014 budget.

The $25 million spending plan includes no fare increases, as the WTA is seeing increased revenue and costs running below budget.

WTA finance director Pat Dunn says the agency’s financial condition is the best it’s seen in years.
