WWU men fall to #20 in national rankings

The Western Washington University men’s basketball dropped 5 spots to number 20 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches/NCAA Division II Top 25 Poll released Tuesday. The 9-and-3 Vikings are remain tied for first place in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference with a 3-and-1 conference record.

Last week, WWU split its longest road trip of the regular season, defeating No.23 Alaska Anchorage, 104-89, followed by a 65-61 loss to Alaska Fairbanks.

The Vikings will look to add to their school-record Carver Gym winning streak of 35 games when they host Simon Fraser on Saturday at 7:30pm. You can hear Saturday’s game on AM 930 KBAI and www.930kbai.com
