WWU men’s hoop squad picked 3rd in GNAC

The Western Washington University men’s basketball team has been picked to finish third in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference pre-season coaches poll. Seattle Pacific received nine out of 10 first place votes to take first in the poll.  Alaska Anchorage got the other first place vote and finished second.

The Western men are coming off a 31-3 season and a trip to the national semifinals.  The Vikings won the national championship in 2012.  They return two starters from last season in point guard Richard Woodworth and center Austin Bragg.
