Bellingham scored seven runs in the first four innings and starter Aaron Sandefur threw 7 2/3 strong innings, as the Bells beat the Kelowna Falcons, 7-4, Friday in West Coast League action at Elk Stadium in Kelowna.

Sandefur was masterful while on the mound, allowing four runs on four hits, walking three and striking out 11. Sandefur’s outing was the longest by a Bellingham starter this season. Moises Ceja threw the final 1 1/3 innings to earn the save.

Colby Woodmansee and Scott Heath each hit solo home runs for the Bells. All nine in Bellingham’s lineup recorded a base hit.

With the win, the Bells improve to 23-6 and remain in first place in the West Division of the WCL.
