BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The local chapter of the American Red Cross raised $49,000 at it’s recent charity golf tournament in Bellingham.

Thrity-four teams participated in the 20th annual golf tournament held June 27th at the Shuksan Golf Club.

The event is the second-largest annual fundraiser for the Mount Baker Chapter, and all the money raised will help them respond to disasters in the local community.

Executive Director Stacy Rice says everything they do “is made possible by the generosity of individuals and businesses in our community.”
