Most serious sex crime charges dropped in rape of teen

Charges have been dropped or greatly reduced for a teen and young man accused of raping a 15-year-old girl in April.

The 21-year-old was sentenced to a year in prison after pleading guilty to third-degree rape.

The charges against an 18-year-old were dropped.

The Bellingham Herald reports the teen victim who says she was raped at a party is no longer cooperating with the investigation.
