Silvertip fans raise over $5000 for Oso Slide Relief

The Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League used Friday’s playoff game against Seattle as a fundraiser to help support victims of the Oso landslide.¬† Fans of the team raised a total of $5120 in donations for the Disaster Recovery Fund for Mudslide Relief.

Donations from the game were collected through a combination of ticket sales via a special online link, a pre-game Thunderbirds car smash in front of Comcast Arena and cash donations.
