Slam rewarded with IBL postseason awards

The Bellingham Slam of the International Basketball League have done well with post-season awards given out by the website USBasket.com. The Slam won their third straight IBL title in 2014.
Guard Morris Anderson was named Most Improved Player. Blake Poole was picked as the Center of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. Guard Rico Wilkins won his second straight Sixth Man of the Year award.
The Slam’s Tyler Amaya was named Coach of the Year in his first season in charge.
