Vancouver Volcanoes down the Bellingham Slam

Andre Murray and Chehales Tapscott combined for 72 points in leading the Vancouver Volcanoes past the Bellingham Slam 127-to-115 at Clark College Saturday night. Tapscott added 19 rebounds in helping Vancouver win their home opener.

Mo Anderson led the Slam with 23 points in the loss. Bellingham is now 1-and-1 on the season.

The Slam are next in action Friday, May 2nd when the play host the Portland Chinooks at the Whatcom Pavilion. You can hear that game on KBAI (930AM) beginning at 6:35pm.
