Warrant issued for 19-year-old in fatal Hwy 20 crash

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A warrant has been issued for a 19-year-old charged with three counts of vehicle homicide in a crash that killed three people on Highway 20 near Sedro Wooley on May 23.

State troopers are looking for Alfredo Navarro Jr.

Investigators believe Navarro was driving intoxicated and caused the crash that killed three people including 21-year-old Megan Brown from Bellingham.

Navarro walked away from Harborview Medical Center where he was recovering from serious injuries.

It’s not clear if he was released or left without permission.
