Whatcom County goes 3-1 in prep soccer playoffs

In the high school soccer playoffs Tuesday the Squalicum boys advanced to the bi-district championship game beating Cedarcrest 3-0.  The Storm plays Anacortes for the title Saturday at 1:00 in Sedro-Woolley.

Also in 2A the Sehome boys stayed alive in the consolation bracket beating Lakewood 3-0.  The Mariners now host Sedro-Woolley Thursday night at 7:00 at Civic Stadium.

In 1A tri-districts the Blaine boys stayed alive beating Vashon Island 2-1.  The Borderites next play South Whidbey Thursday  night at 6:00 at Interlake High School in Bellevue.

And the Mount Baker boys got knocked out by Seattle Academy 3-0.
