WSU backup QB Bruggman to transfer

Washington State University quarterback Tyler Bruggman is transferring out of the program, according to the fan website The red shirt freshman from Phoenix was a four-star recruit for Coach Mike Leach and the Cougars. Bruggman has been released from his scholarship and will be able to transfer to one of four schools…Duke, Louisville, Indiana or Arkansas.
Senior Connor Halliday returns as the Cougars starter.
