Police investigating vandalism allegations against Justin Bieber are searching his cell phone for clues after seizing the mobile during a raid of his California home on Tuesday.

Cops descended on the “Baby” hitmaker’s Calabasas mansion after a neighbor complained to authorities last week, when the singer was reportedly discovered hurling eggs at his front door.

Detectives took Bieber’s iPhone away as evidence during the search, and tech experts at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office are currently scanning the device for any potentially incriminating photos, text messages or other material.

Lieutenant David Thompson tells CNN, “We’re looking for anything that has to do with this particular incident”, adding that anything showing Bieber “bragging or making fun of” the incident will also prove useful as cops attempt to get to the bottom of the case.

Officers are also studying surveillance footage taken from Bieber’s pad, which was equipped with a “well operated” security system.

Thompson adds, “It was extensive. I believe it was installed very well and covered all areas of Mr. Bieber’s house.”

Bieber was not arrested during the police raid, but his rapper pal Lil Za was taken into custody on suspicion of drug possession after MDMA, a form of ecstasy, was allegedly found in plain sight.

However, Thompson insists Bieber will not have to worry about cops finding any “drug talk” on his cell phone, stating, “It’s just the egg matter (they are looking for evidence for).”
