Genesis is reuniting … at least for a documentary

The original stars of Genesis are set to reunite to film a new documentary.

Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins will regroup with former members including Mike Rutherford, Steve Hackett and Tony Banks for a film titled “Genesis: Together and Apart.”

Bosses at the BBC, the network behind the documentary, claim the project will bring the line-up back together for the first time since 1975.

The film will air in the U.K. later this year. No word on whether it will be screened in the states, but we can always hope.

The news comes just weeks after Phil Collins made a rare return to the stage, to perform with his son’s middle school band.
