Muse film to make history as first hi-def concert movie

A new film, “Muse – Live at Rome Olympic Stadium,” is set to make history at the box office by becoming the first concert movie shot in the ultra-high definition format 4K.

The film will hit 20 city cinemas around the globe on Nov. 5, before expanding to 700 theaters worldwide the next day.

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy admits the footage is so clear fans can see every wrinkle and out-of-place hair.

He says, “There’s weird things like hair and stuff that you probably would never pay attention to. It’s so much more noticeably sharper that it’s almost unsettling at first.”
