216K strollers recalled after multiple reports of injuries

Britax is recalling more than 216,000 strollers nationwide after multiple reports of children’s fingers getting caught, with some being broken or amputated. The recall involves more than stroller model, and they were sold at retailers including Buy Buy Baby and Toys R Us through June.

Consumers should immediately stop using the stroller and contact the company for a free repair kit.

Thousands of baby walkers recalled for failing federal safety standards

BeBe Love is recalling more than 3,000 baby walkers because they failed to meet federal safety standards. The walkers were sold nationwide for about $25.

U.S. probing Honda Accords for air bag problem

U.S. safety regulators are investigating complaints that the side air bags on some Honda Accords can inflate when the front doors are closed. The probe covers about 363,000 of the popular midsize cars from the 2008 model year.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says 28 drivers have complained about the problem. Two people reported injuries. Investigators will determine out how often the problem happens and whether a recall is needed.
