Shakira and Blake Shelton team up for ACM awards

Shakira and her “The Voice” co-star Blake Shelton will team up to perform at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night.

The odd couple will take the stage to perform her new track “Medicine” in Las Vegas.

The Band Perry will open the show and Garth Brooks, George Strait and Miranda Lambert will appear as part of tribute to Crystal Award recipient Merle Haggard, who was named Best New Artist at the ACMs 50 years ago.

Shelton will also co-host with pal Luke Bryan.
