Rutgers University has announced plans to offer a class examining the Biblical references and religious overtones of more than 4 decades of songs by “The Boss.”

The New Jersey school will offer the class examining the theology of Bruce Springsteen songs as a freshman seminar, Rolling Stone reports.

The course will be taught by a Rutgers religion professor and self-professed Springsteen fan.
