U2’s iconic album “The Joshua Tree” is set to join the history books after it was chosen for preservation by America’s Library of Congress.

The 1987 record, which spawned hits including “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” and “With or Without You,” is among 25 works that will join the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry.

Linda Ronstadt’s Grammy-winning album “Heart Like a Wheel” will also be preserved, as will The Everly Brothers’ track “Cathy’s Clown,” Stephen Sondheim’s cast recording of “Sweeney Todd” and Leonard Cohen’s anthem “Hallelujah.”

After announcing the entries on Tuesday, Librarian of Congress James Billington said, “As technology continually changes and formats become obsolete, we must ensure that our nation’s aural legacy is protected.”
