The producers of “Breaking Bad” put a lid on plot leaks by blacking out large chunks of the actors’ scripts.

The popular TV show, starring Bryan Cranston as teacher-turned-drug dealer Walter White, is edging towards its conclusion as the fifth and final season is broadcast, and it has now emerged TV bosses went to great lengths to prevent spoilers.

Dean Norris, who plays White’s cop brother-in-law Hank Schrader, has revealed key plot elements were kept secret as producers censored the cast’s scripts.

He says, “None of us want to spoil it for our fans. It’s a hard thing to do because we’re so used to not talking about it. Although, when we were about half-way through, all the scripts had the juicy parts blacked out. It was like working for the CIA.”
