Car Hits Ambulance In Ferndale, 3 Hospitalized

FERNDALE, Wash. -- A crash in Ferndale sent an ambulance into a ditch and three people to the hospital.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Keith Leary says the crash yesterday afternoon at Bay and Kickerville Roads resulted in minor injuries to the paramedics and the 56-year-old driver of the car.

Leary says the ambulance was on its way back to the station and was not carrying anyone in the back.

Troopers say the driver did not appear to be impaired and they continue to investigate the collision.
