FERNDALE, Wash. -- A Ferndale man will spend 5 years in prison for possessing child porn.

Court documents show 41-year-old Trevor Portrey is a registered sex offender, convicted in 1993 of two counts of child molestation.

Investigators found hundreds of sexual photos of underage girls on his computer when they came to his home in the 6100 block of Portal Way in March of last year.

Portrey was arrested in September, and is now being sentenced to 60 months in prison after pleading guilty to one count of possessing depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
