Wes Scantlin's wife wants prenup invalidated

Puddle of Mudd star Wes Scantlin's estranged wife has asked a judge to throw out the couple's prenuptial agreement so she can have half the rocker's assets.

Jessica Nicole Scantlin wants the contract she signed before marrying the singer to be ruled invalid, according to new legal papers submitted to a Los Angeles court.

The model maintains she is entitled to interest from music written by Scantlin during their relationship, alleging she helped to inspire his work.

In her filing, obtained by TMZ, Jessica Nicole claims she will "seek for the premarital agreement to either be set aside on the grounds that it is either unenforceable or she was coerced into executing it."

She also asks the court to grant her "one-half interest of all past, present, and future revenues" generated by the songs written during their marriage.

Scantlin filed for divorce in November after marrying the blonde beauty in 2008.
