WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. -- The Whatcom Education, Spay and Neuter Impact Program is getting some help from the state to provide operations for feral cats.

“We Snip” has received a five thousand dollar grant from the Washington Federation of Animal Care and control agencies to perform about one hundred surgeries.

We Snip will help feral cat caretakers to trap the cats, spay or neuter them and vaccinate them.

The funds have been made available through sales “We Love Our Pets” Washington State License Plates.
