Last Chance to Hear Lectures on Philosophy and Religion

BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- The second and final lecture in this year's Bellingham Lectures in Philosophy and Religion is being held tomorrow (Thursday) at Western Washington University.

Each year for the last four year, they've brought scholars of religion and science to western to give two lectures on cutting-edge philosophical research.

Project leader Dan Howard-Snyder says the aim is to bring students and academics and members of the public together to discuss philosophy and religion in a civilized forum.

This year's lecture series will wrap up tomorrow (Thursday) at 7:00 pm with a talk titled "Evolution and the Problem of Evil," at Western's Performing Arts Center.

The lectures are free and open to the public. You can also see a live stream of the lecture at their web site, blpr.org.
