SUMAS, Wash. -- Travel will soon be faster at the Sumas border crossing. Chief Thomas Schreiber with the U.S. Customs and Border protection says Sumas is expanding its Nexus program for trusted travelers. Schreiber says people can apply online to be a trusted traveler. He says personal exemptions apply for both Nexus and regular lanes. Commercial goods and entries are not allowed in Nexus lanes. The expansion begins tomorrow.
